“No matter where you’re from, everyone’s local!”

“I had no idea there was so much going on”

St Clare’s Church

At St Clare’s we aim to welcome the people of Park Barn, young and old, into the life of God’s Church. We love to worship God together, especially on a Sunday morning, and the cross in our building reminds us just how much God loves us. Together we’re learning to live like Jesus, to pray like him, to study the Bible, and to share our gifts for the good of our community, our families and our church. We believe God calls us to care for people in need, to speak up for justice, and to point people to Jesus.

Sunday Services –

8am Holy Communion – a quiet communion service lasting about 40 minutes.

10.30am Worship for All – we aim to be ‘family friendly’ and informal. We like to sing different kinds of songs and there’s usually a cup of tea or coffee after the service. Most Sundays it’s a communion service where we begin and end all together, but there’s a chance for children to go to a group of their own for some of the time. The whole service normally lasts an hour and 15 minutes. Usually on the first Sunday of each month all ages stay together, there’s no holy communion and it’s over in less than an hour.
