Guildford Nepalese Community
GNC is an apolitical, non-religious, non-discriminative and not-for-profit organisation that was established on 11 April 2009 to cater for the needs of the Nepalese people in the area of Guildford. To date, it has around 163 members.
The primary aim of the community is to provide welfare and morale support to members who may fall into grave predicaments thereby helping them to get back on their feet. It has the following objectives:
- To preserve and promote Nepalese identity, custom, culture and traditions for posterity
- To foster and maintain unity, harmony and cooperation among its members through various social and physical activities.
- To promote good will and cooperation as well as to forge good relations and integrate with other wider communities in Guilford.
- To promote health and wellbeing to its members through knowledge bases classes and through leisure sports and activities.
We welcome any comments to enable us to improve our website to make it more user friendly, informative and useful for the benefit of all. However, we will not tolerate any inflammatory language, abusive religious, political and racial comments.
