Joining In! Stoke

“Our focus is on creating a cohesive community network, whereby we can support groups and residents to assist each other in making Stoke a great place to live. “

St John’s Church, Stoke

We are a faith-based organisation looking to work with our community, building relationships and offering support through practical works and groups.

Part of the Church of England, we run services and groups, and hire out the hall and rooms in the church centre.

We offer baptisms, weddings, and funerals for those living in the parish.

We also offer marriage preparation, marriage courses and parenting courses, small bible study groups, prayer meetings, a monthly Saturday dad’s club, Messy Church, holiday clubs, summer fun, a monthly lunch for the over 55s, and loads more.

Sunday services are at 9am, 10.30am and 6pm (twice a month), with children’s groups at the 10.30am service.

See separate listings under Supervised and Safe – Fun Things for Children & Young People section.

The church is for anyone and everyone. Please see website for more information.
