Joining In! Stoke

“Our focus is on creating a cohesive community network, whereby we can support groups and residents to assist each other in making Stoke a great place to live. “

Scouts

2nd Guildford Scout Group is for children aged 10 and a half to 14 years old.

We provide a wide range of activities which promote fun, friendship and adventure, on a weekly basis and during day trips and camps.

Being outdoors is important and our Scouts learn traditional skills, including camping, pioneering and cooking as well as enjoying a wide range of adventurous activities such as climbing, abseiling, canoeing, hiking and sailing. They explore their local community, take part in conservation tasks and investigate global issues and Scouting in other countries.

Our Scouts have the chance to make new friends, to show responsibility and initiative, plan their own activities, to help others and to work as a team.

Volunteer opportunities: Our enthusiastic volunteers are very important to us. Please contact Tony for more information.
