Joining In! Stoke

“Our focus is on creating a cohesive community network, whereby we can support groups and residents to assist each other in making Stoke a great place to live. “

GLADE is a gardening and street cleaning enterprise, launched in partnership with Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership, Oakleaf Enterprise and Guildford YMCA.

Our aim is to provide skills, training and work opportunities for jobseekers and young people across North Guildford. We provide gardening and street cleansing services.

GLADE is providing new opportunities within local communities, for people to improve their employability through volunteering, work experience and accredited qualifications. The project works with unemployed people, offering them courses and training programmes to provide them with skills for future employment.

We are looking to expand so that we can provide even more support to the community. Please contact us if you would like to get involved.

Volunteer opportunities: Call in at the Hub at 109 Southway if you are interested in volunteering, work experience and training, or contact Dave Pascoe (see below).

Hub opening times – Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 4pm

Operations are community-wide
