We need a volunteer in each area to help us visit voluntary and community groups and find out what volunteer help they need and help them advertise these opportunities on the Joining In! website and in the Volunteer Centre.

CHIPS Holiday Play Scheme

CHIPS provides more than 1,000 places for local children aged four to 11 on its quality school holiday play scheme for local children.

It runs for five weeks over the summer school holidays from 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. The scheme employs qualified and experienced early years and play work staff and is managed by a voluntary committee.

Volunteer opportunities: We are always looking for volunteers to help out on our play scheme. You are welcome to volunteer on a daily basis or just whenever you can.

Our experienced volunteer committee members provide crucial support throughout the year, through ideas and a passion for supporting children and families. The committee meets approximately six times a year, usually from 7pm to 9pm on a weekday.
