“I feel we are very fortunate living in Ash as there are many opportunities for people to get involved, make friends, learn new skills and be a part of the community we live in.
I hope you find something that interests you.”

Ash Community wardens
Jo, Lesley and Richard are the team of Ash Community Wardens employed by Guildford Borough Council. Their main base is at Japonica Court with an additional office at Dray Court as they also cover parts of Merrow and Onslow.
The role of the team is to focus on improving the lives of people as part of a council priority called Project Aspire.
This involves supporting community groups and helping those in need such as the lonely or vulnerable. They have a particular focus on health and wellbeing and can help to signpost those experiencing mental health, financial issues or loneliness within our community.
Connecting with residents is an important part of the role and the team regularly visit groups where people can come together socially to discuss local concerns.
Their community office is open to anyone without any need for an appointment. You will also see the wardens supporting or organising community events for all ages and backgrounds.
The community wardens value the sharing of local information and suggestions to improve and enhance services and facilities. You can contact them in the following ways:
